Who are we?

A non-profit organization that is committed to the betterment of our community through public service projects, and training future leaders through project development and implementation.Members of the Clinton Jaycees are people just like you between the ages of 21 and 41, who would like to actively help our community continually become a better place to live and work.

What do we do?

As well as being known for donating generously to worthy charitable organizations either directly or through the Clinton Jaycees Foundation, the Clinton Jaycees is the single most active community service organization in the Clinton area. Whether it’s hosting a party for area seniors, coordinating youth events, holding out a helping hand to the less fortunate, or organizing banquets to recognize the efforts of many great people in our community – the Clinton Jaycees look for ways to bring something special to our community, while developing leadership skills in our membership and challenging our members to create ways to do more.

What’s in it for me?

The Jaycees offer many avenues for both personal and professional development. You will learn new skills and expand your personal horizons. The Clinton Jaycees has long served as a launch pad for many of the “movers and shakers” of our community.  Also: Jaycee members come from diverse backgrounds; and you will undoubtedly make new professional contacts, build lasting friendships – and have fun!  Member Activities: Membership Nights, Sporting Events, Annual Golf Outing, Formal Banquets, Cookouts, and other outings and fun.

What role will I play?

Being a member will afford you the opportunity to choose your level of involvement. Whether you simply want to help out with specific projects or choose to pursue an elective office within the organization, you make the decision as to how involved you would like to be.  Your time commitment will depend upon how involved you choose to become. Regular meetings are held twice a month.

Our Mission

The Clinton Jaycees shall be a non-profit corporation, organized for civic service through the organized efforts of the young persons of the community to promote the welfare of the community and its citizens through active, constructive projects. It shall be the further purpose of this corporation to provide the young persons constituting its membership training in leadership and civic consciousness to better their usefulness as citizens.

The Jaycee Creed

We Believe:

That faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life;

That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations;

That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise;

That government should be of laws rather than of men;

That earth's great treasure lies in human personality;

And that service to humanity is the best work of life.
